Hello! My name is Alexis and I work with children, teens and young adults. I am committed to helping my clients with any complications that are impacting over-all quality of life. I utilize a multi-modal approach, including child-centered play therapy techniques, DBT, CBT and Solution-Focused techniques. Therapy is not a one size fits all process, and I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals.
My goal as a counselor is to create a safe space for my clients and their families to discuss life’s challenges and not feel judged. Therapy should not feel awkward or uncomfortable; we can laugh and have fun because I believe laughing itself can be healing.
