I am Angie Rotter, a licensed mental health counselor with more than 10 years of experience working with children with behavioral concerns and traumatic experiences. I believe that counseling is a collaborative relationship between me and my client. We will work together to identify counseling goals and discuss the best ways to achieve them.
As a fellow parent, I understand the struggles that accompany the joys and heartaches of parenthood, however, as a scholar of human behavior, I understand that behavior serves a purpose. We will work together to discover that purpose and develop a plan for change. I know that change can be a scary process, but we will work together to get through it.
I believe that counseling does not have to be a stuffy uncomfortable experience. We can have fun and laugh a bit throughout the process. Sometimes we need to laugh at the craziness life brings.
Thank you for choosing me to be part of your life’s journey. I am excited to work with you and your child.
