We are seeking to add another licensed mental health professional to the team. The ideal candidate has a passion for working with children (6 – 10 years old), thrives in a casual work environment, believes in a team-first approach, and above all else has a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities
- Provide counseling to mostly children ages 6 – 10 years old with opportunities for early childhood, if interested
- Complete appropriate documentation, including chart notes, psychotherapy notes, phone calls, letters and other forms of collaboration
- Submit insurance claims (training provided)
- Attend case and ethical consultations to ensure professional and ethical clinical practice
- Attend monthly meetings to stay up to date with current happenings within the group practice
- Be an active and supportive part of a team of therapists and administrative support professionals
Requirements
- Licensed to practice in the state of South Dakota under one of the following certifications
- CSW-PIP
- LMFT
- LPC-MH (or working towards Mental Health designation)
- LP
- Eligible for health insurance reimbursement in South Dakota
- Experienced in working with children (4 to 12 years old) and teens in a clinical setting and desires to practice in this area
- Available for afternoon and evening scheduling
- Full-time availability (at least 25 scheduled clients per week)
- Work from our Sioux Falls, SD office location
- Interest in obtaining Play Therapy credential preferred
