Hi! My name is Madison Kyle and I’m so glad you’re here. My goal is to normalize counseling and help you navigate the difficult things life can throw at you. I have been working in the mental health field since 2017 in a variety of settings, and have additional training in EMDR, Theraplay® Level 1, MIM Assessments, and sex therapy. Caring for others has always been a driving force in my life. As a teen it looked like babysitting, then nannying in college, and then skills work in homes and schools in Northwest Iowa while I pursued my MSW. Since then I have worked in an office setting and in schools providing therapy services in the Sioux Empire. I have experience working with children and teens with anxiety, relational challenges, self-injury, and trauma. Additional training areas include Theraplay®, a modality that can help improve the dynamic between children and caregivers, and EMDR which can help clients process traumatic incidents and negative core beliefs.

I enjoy working with adults and couples who are having a distressing time in their life or their relationship. I believe that things often get lost in emotions rather than in translation and with support, pscyho-education, and practice individuals can learn new skills to help themselves, their relationships, and their families. I have additional training as a sex therapist and sex educator which give me a unique perspective with individuals and couples who come to therapy with sexual health concerns.

Sports have always been a part of my life from playing and coaching to spectating and researching therapy was a natural next step in my practice. I have worked with athletes from little league to professional who have presented with a variety of concerns ranging from performance anxiety to processing traumas or injuries in their sport.
